Leading north east marketing and public relations agency DTW has been appointed to work for national land management charity The Land Trust.
The Land Trust, which owns more than 1,000 hectares of land across the UK and ensures public spaces are managed for community benefit, has appointed a panel of agencies from across the country to cover all aspects of its marketing work.
The panel will work on a roster basis, providing marketing services to support the work of the Trust as it develops and maintains public open spaces for the community.
The Land Trust takes on a wide range of public spaces across the UK, from formerly contaminated sites to the green spaces in new developments, meaning its requirements can be complex and varied.
Its core aims are to further social cohesion and provide educational resources, while also improving health, the environment and the local economy.
DTW employs 16 people at its base in Guisborough, and works with public and private sector organisations right across the UK to provide marketing, PR, design and digital services to a wide range of clients.
DTW Director Hayley Stewart, said the agency was looking forward to working with the charity.
“We are delighted to have been selected by The Land Trust as one of its chosen agencies to provide marketing services as it strives to provide a greater number of open spaces for the good of local communities across the country.
“A lot of our work spans across the waste, environmental and regeneration sectors, so our team has a lot of experience at dealing with the often complex issues involved and communicating them to local communities and stakeholders.”
Does anyone else remember Smash Hits magazine? As a pre-teen did you pounce on the Top 20 song lyrics therein, desperate to memorise them? I hope it wasn’t just me. I’m still fascinated by song lyrics today. There are those that tell a story, like Rod Stewart’s ‘Maggie May’ and those that are wonderfully absurd, like The Beatles’ ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’.
