The Brief

To mark SUEZ’s 30th anniversary of operating in the UK, DTW was commissioned to produce a film which set out its corporate vision and highlighted the work being done by the company to shape the future of recycling and waste management in the UK.

The film needed to set our SUEZ’s aspirations around leading the resource revolution and adaptation of the circular economy, positioning the entire business and its staff as part of this. In addition, SUEZ wanted the film to stand out visually from other similar films produced by recycling and waste management companies both in the UK and internationally.

Our Work

We developed a concept for the film centred around the statement “We Are Ready” which encompassed both being ready to face the challenges that the recycling and resource industry was facing, but also the forward looking nature of SUEZ as a business and it being able to adapt to what the future brings.

The film touched upon as many of the diverse activities of SUEZ across the entire UK as possible – including operations in the Yorkshire Dales, the Severn Estuary and central London (in the very early hours of the morning).

The narrative for the film was created by a voiceover script which was written working closely with SUEZ’s corporate communications team and which closely reflected the overall themes of the business’s planned messaging for the 30th anniversary activity.

Results

The film has been used extensively for internal and external events including conferences, bid submissions and inductions.

Feedback from viewers was overwhelmingly positive, notably highlighting the repositioning of the brand within the film.
