Account Manager (£22-29K)
Position Reports to: Board Director
Key Duties:
- Working closely with an Account Director/Board Director on client accounts to ensure satisfactory delivery of their business requirements
- Researching, writing and assisting in the delivery of communication strategies/plans for clients
- Researching and writing news releases and copywriting for brochures and leaflets, websites etc
- Helping the PR team to manage crisis PR for clients
- Attending client meetings and producing contact reports
- Taking client briefs and briefing studio for the production of printed materials and multi-media
- Assisting in the management of events
- Commissioning and liaising with external suppliers including market researchers, printers and photographers
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals for new business and attending pitches as required
- Working closely with marketing team members and undertaking elements of marketing activity, as necessary
- Supporting the development of the company, including marketing and business development, training etc
- Supervising account executives and other junior staff
- Maintaining accurate records and files of all activities, including timesheets, job sheets etc
- Complying fully with DTW’s quality assurance procedures
- Other duties that may arise from time to time
Person specification:
Appropriate degree or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum two years’ experience of working in a busy communications environment
Experience of writing news releases and copywriting for print/web
Excellent communications skills and a confident presentational style
Flexible approach to work commitments, including out of hours activity and occasional travel
Able to work on own initiative but as part of a team
Able to demonstrate good organisational skills
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
Creative and innovative
Diplomatic, discreet and sensitive to difficult issues
Must be of the highest integrity
Account Director (£30-36K)
Position Reports to: Board Director
Key Duties:
- Working closely with Board Directors on client accounts to ensure satisfactory delivery of their business requirements
- Leading on client accounts and providing strategic PR advice and support to clients
- Researching and writing communication strategies/plans for clients and assisting in their delivery
- Leading and managing crisis PR
- Working closely with marketing team members and undertaking elements of marketing activity, as necessary
- Preparing proposals for new business and leading pitches as required.
- Supporting Board Directors on the development of the company, including marketing and business development, training etc
- Helping to deliver the company’s business plan
- Supporting Board Directors on financial forecasting and agreeing/meeting sales and business targets
- Supervising account managers, executives and other staff
- Complying fully with DTW’s quality assurance procedures
Person specification:
Degree level or professional qualification in Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing
Five years PR experience at middle management level
Preferaby with some understanding of how the public sector works
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Able to work to tight deadlines
Enthusiastic, self motivated and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
