Corporate social responsibility

We take our responsibilities to the community seriously, and make an active contribution both professionally and personally. 

Our principal commitment for 2011 is to support the North Yorkshire Fire Service Extrication Team, to whom we have offered a substantial programme of support. We helped Teesside Hospice in a similar way in 2010 and our intention is for a different organisation to be supported each year. Organisations that wish to be considered for this opportunity should contact us.

In addition to our charitable work, we provide substantial support to:

• The CIPR Public Services Group – we are a member of the CIPR North East committee and our Managing Director, Chris Taylor, is Chair Elect of this committee.
• LGCommunications – we prepared the Reputation awards presentation for LGComms in May 2011.
• Teesside University – we work with the University to develop PR and related communications programmes.
• The Education Village, Darlington.
• “The Plunge” event at Redcar & Cleveland College – we regularly provide 'business experts' for this event, helping young people to develop entrepreneurial skills.
• The North East Chamber of Commerce.
